Job Description
As a member of the accounting team, you will ensure timely and accurate payroll and benefits administration. Payroll Administration
:Collects, compiles and enters payroll data using Paylocity for 100+ emplyees (hourly and exempt)
:Audits time cards to ensure correctness
:Calculate and posts proper payroll deductions
:Issues statements of earnings and deductions
:Reconciles all employee deductions (such as benefits, retirement, other)
:Investigates and correct payroll discrepancies and errors
:Updates payroll records by recording changes including insurance coverage, salary increases
:Processes new employees, terminations and promotions
:Prepares and print payroll reports of earnings, hours worked, taxes and insurance
:Addresses employees payroll related questions and provides accurate payroll information
:Completes requests for pay:related documents including statements and verifications
:Develops, manages and maintains comprehensive payroll records
:Processes garnishments and tax levys as required
:Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations and guidelines
:Assists with special projects and reporting as requested
Benefit Administration
:Administers health insurance plans including processing of enrollments and terminations received by the HR department
:Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record keeping and proper deductions
:Processes monthly billings from insurance providers and reviews billings for accuracy, correct codes and payment advances if any
:Resolves discrepancies with insurance carriers, payroll systems and teammates
:Completes reports for management as requested
:Coordinates with insurance broker and HR to resolve employee insurance issues
:Assists in annual open enrollment period and process changes within deadlines
:Serves as a contact in the benefit and payroll audit process
:Processes biweekly 401k and Simple IRA contributions, manages employee 401k account, and reconciles year:end discrepancies
:Assists with any employee related retirement plan administration questions

:Bachelors Degree in
Accounting/Business desired
:3 + years of experience in processing payroll, Paylocity experience a plus
:Experience with time and attendance keeping systems a plus
:Advanced computer skills including data entry, MS Office
:Highly organized with strong attention to detail in all work product
:Ability to manage multiple assignments and balance workload independently
:Strong verbal and written communications skills; ability to listen attentively and to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels within the organization
:Must be a dependable team:player with a positive attitude
:High degree of drive, initiative, and follow through
:Ability to succeed in a fast:paced environment
:Track record of managing confidential information with the utmost discretion
