Job Description:/h3:
Golden Gate Hearing Services has an opportunity for a full time Front Office Administrator.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, friendly, professional, and eager to learn about the hearing aid industry.

Position Summary:

The Front Office Administrator is the first point of contact for the patient and is responsible for creating a positive first impression. The FOA demonstrates professionalism by using a patient:centered approach of building trust, identifying needs and delivering solutions. The FOA also supports the clinic provider/s by performing operational, marketing, sales and record:keeping functions while representing excellent patient care.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

:
Facilitate smooth patient flow and services by greeting, scheduling and checking patients in and out.
:
Perform customer follow:up calls and appointment confirmations.
:
Identify how to best help patients and recognize sales opportunities.
:
Assist with inquiries regarding advertising and communication pieces.
:
Support the clinical staff by handling administrative processing and record keeping.
:
Verify insurance coverage and perform all patient billing including collecting and recording payments.
:
Handle administrative functions including confirming the status/checking:in of hearing devices and repairs.
:
Maintain a variety of clinical documentation.
:
Ensure the reception and waiting area is well maintained.
:
Open and/or close the office on a daily basis according to contracted hours of operation.
:
Participate in clinic meetings and events.

Required Skills:
:
A minimum of 2 years of front desk medical/sales experience and/or knowledge of procedures.
:
Must be adept at word processing and possess database management skills.
:
Experience with insurance billing and coding.
:
Basic understanding of accounting procedures and good math aptitude.
:
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
:
Detail:oriented with strong customer service skills.
:
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks within strict deadlines.
:
Able to efficiently and gracefully direct the flow of a busy office with interruptions, calls, and walk:ins.
:
Excellent interpersonal skills that allow for effective relationships with diverse customers, colleagues, and vendors. This includes listening, sales techniques, and problem solving skills.
