The Technical Project Manager leads the project vetting and planning for technical aspects of projects where Engineering resources are required. This includes, but is not limited to: working with the PMO organization; identifying appropriate resources for projects; prioritizing project work; communicating project changes and status to all parties; ensuring the responsiveness and accountability of the EngineeringA?s project:related activities. Lead and work with project teams to meet Engineering project related requirements. This includes:Working with engineers to understand and prioritize their workload.Providing performance feedback to supervisors of engineers.Facilitate technical discussions.May need to create action plans to move projects forward.May provide technical guidance and recommendations.Negotiating and coordination with contract engineering resource companies.Reporting of engineer utilization and resource consumption.Recommends process changes to improve the workflow and productivity of Engineering.Acts as the liaison with the PMO. This includes:Assigning and scheduling engineers to projects.Working with project managers to prioritize efforts and resolve conflicting projects.Providing regular updates of the progress and status of specific project tasks.Making recommendations as to the sourcing of engineering resources.Participating in PMO meetings.Reporting of human resource utilization.Recommending improvements to project process.Participation in project initiations, gate reviews and go:live decisions.Ensure compliance with audit requirements, including analysis and remediation of exposures.Perform duties and responsibilities specific to department functions and activities.Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned by supervisor.Responsibilities include the following: Adhering to and complying with all applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to Anti:Money Laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, etc.).Adhering to Bank policies and pleting required training.Identifying and reporting potential suspicious activity to the BSA/AML Officer.Knowing and verifying the identity of any customer(s) that enters into a relationship with the Bank. Minimum of 7 years of IT project management experience in an enterprise environment.PMP certification strongly preferred.Significant project management experience in a wide variety of IT disciplines and technology, including networking, storage, servers, operations, business continuity, system integration, disaster recovery.BSCS or equivalent experience required.Advanced knowledge as a subject matter expert in the program area including systems and operations.Excellent organizational and problem:solving skills.Demonstrated ability to quickly understand complex systems.Ability to simultaneously work on multiple tasks in a fast:paced environment.Outstanding interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written fortably interacts with individuals at all levels within an organization.Proven leadership and staff development skills.Team playerProvides extraordinary serviceFurthers the First Republic Bank culture and valuesThe ability to learn and comprehend basic instructions; understand the meanings of words and respond effectively; and perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly.Vision must be sufficient to read data reports, manuals and computer screens.Hearing must be sufficient to understand a conversation at a normal volume, including telephone calls and in person.Speech must be coherent to clearly convey or exchange information, including the giving and receiving of assignments and/or directions.Position involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.Must be able to travel as position requires.May be required to lift 25:50lbs.
