Contract Furnishings : Senior Project ManagerSan Francisco, CA Overview:One Workplace (OWP) is looking for the very best, of the best, Project Manager (PM). They work to ensure smooth workflow in a manner consistent with OWPA?s brand messaging and they interface with all OWP departments, client contacts, and other professionals to accomplish successful completion of projects according to management directives.The basic traits of a Project Manager are:Self:directed and proficient in building and maximizing PM teams faced with frequent deadlinesHigh level of experience around managing tasks and teams, critical dates, client and third party relationsComfortable with intermittent workloads, unusual hours and significant time spent out of the officeResponsible for exercising prudent judgment with minimal guidance, performance quality, customer satisfaction and budgeting and project administration Independent work:style; Flexible hours and 50 travel Key Responsibilities: Customer / Account ServicingProject Planning, Coordination, and ManagementProject AdministrationProject Implementation and Order ManagemenProject Punch, Invoicing, and Close:outAnd there may be other responsibilities; but the right person would be up for making anything happen Basic qualifications: BachelorA?s Degree (B.A.) from a four:year college or university5 : 15 yearsA? related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceExemplary verbal and written communication skillsMust be extremely organized, with good time management skills Must be able to analyze and problem solve, even with significant ambiguityGeneral understanding of furniture product utilization, including architectural integration is requiredAbility to manage large and complex projects Very good understanding of furniture product utilization, including architectural integration is requiredVery good product and technical knowledge, including applicable building codes, correct product applications, custom applications and pricing, price estimating and solicitation, and electricity and cabling requirementsAbility to read blueprints, use a measuring tape and an electronic measuring tapeAbility to conduct field verifications, site measurements and furniture/site surveysKnowledge of all aspects of contract furniture management, including account management, project management, order preparation and management, installation, relocations, storage management and contract furniture administrationKnowledge of interior construction, interior design, moves and relocations, trucking, furniture manufacturing and shipping, building management and current workplace issuesProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), Microsoft Project and PlanGrid or similarVery good project estimation and budget management skills Seeing, color perception, hearing/listening, clear speech, hand and finger dexterity, ability to move distances within and between warehouses/offices, driving; Complex reading and writing, basic math skills, judgment, decision making, analysis, comprehensionRegularly works with others and has both face:to:face and verbal contact; Usually works inside; Occasionally works alone and periodically does work outside; May also work around moving objects; Generally works in an office environment with moderate noiseJob Status: Position is Exempt for FLSA purposes; benefit eligible
