The Basics:

The Curriculum Developer is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of learning assets for customer and partner training programs. Working closely with instructional designers and cross-functional stakeholders, you will refine the curriculum framework and develop training content that supports role-based enablement and certification initiatives. Current Training formats include instructor-led student and lab guides (virtual and onsite), instructor guides, how-to videos /demos, e-learning modules, quizzes, and polls.

The Curriculum Developer should also have familiarity with Learning Management Systems, including but not limited to: creating, testing and posting SCORM and AICC content, troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring accurate audience assignments, assessment scoring, documenting all changes, and developing reports and queries for a variety of internal constituents with insightful analysis.

What you'll do:

* Participate in the development and evaluation of new curriculum including self-paced training, instructor-led training, certification programs, and post-training activities

* Coordinate the review/assessment of current curriculum to ensure that course/program is meeting intended objectives and requirements

* Build interactive curriculum that includes self-created images, animations, voice over narration, and company assets following company branding, media, and style guidelines

* Familiar with instructional design tools like Adobe Presenter, Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, Captivate, etc.

* Prepare instructional material for printing and develop outlines with the necessary basic detail to direct instruction

* Use evaluations and data to make recommendations for how to improve and edit curricula on an annual basis

* Develop curricular goals and outlines for new curriculum and curriculum updates

* Actively pursue opportunities to continue to learn best practices in curriculum writing through research, professional development, and other learning opportunities

* Work with training team to produce quarterly training reports for external stakeholders

* Job required travel at least 4 days a month

We're looking for someone with:

* Education

* BS/BA degree or equivalent experience required

* MBA, MA or MS in Instructional Design, or related discipline preferred

* Experience

* 3 years of experience in an instructional design role required

* 4 years of curriculum development experience required

* Learning Management System administration required

* Strong project management skills required

* Hands on experience with G Suite required

* Ability to learn new technologies quickly

* Ability to explain extremely technical concepts clearly and concisely

* Ability to create compelling courseware both written materials and hands-on exercises

* Ability to work on your own initiative

* Ability to conduct job duty task analysis
