Your role at Sephora:
As leader of Sephoras Front:End Engineering team, you will be responsible for the delivery of the foundation and feature development for client:side technology and related systems for sephora and other properties. Reporting to the Vice President, eCommerce Engineering, you will be responsible for building and managing a capable world:class team which can deliver on the vision for sephora. You will work closely with other engineering and technology teams, product management, and your business partners to execute an ambitious portfolio of project work as we evolve the online experience for Sephora.
:Drive and execute delivery of multiple key online initiatives, partnering closely with technology and business partners
:Own and manage the front:end technology stack and its foundation and implementation for sephora and other properties
:Lead a team of over 30 full:time and contractor employees, while influencing a much larger cross: functional group
:Recruit and hire top talent for the front:end engineering team
:Partner with our product management team to develop strong and effective relationships
:Work with other engineering and product leaders to evolve our delivery processes and drive cross:team collaboration and cooperation
:Provide training and professional development opportunities for full:time employees

Were excited about you if you have:
:10+ years of engineering leadership responsibility; retail or ecommerce experience is a plus
:Experience developing and delivering using Agile methodologies
:Understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, object:oriented:programming(OOP), frameworks and technologies
:Demonstrated experience manage effectively through organizational growth and change
:Capability to move quickly between strategic and tactical, understanding context, connecting seemingly unconnected ideas and taking action
:Experience managing large and growing CapEx and OpEx budgets
:Strong communication skills (oral, verbal and listening) as well as the ability to influence key decision makers and understand their points of view
:Strong leadership, negotiation and execution skills with the ability to drive results, deliver and excel, and own it when you dont
