This Lead Software Engineer position can be located in either Rocklin or San Francisco, CA.
* Senior technical role in development and support of large, complex system applications, or of several small applications.
* Requires minimum direction.
* Demonstrates strong technical leadership and ability to mentor others.
* Coordinates work of other technical team members.
* Demonstrates an understanding of key business drivers and ensures technical solutions deliver business value in line with the company objectives.
* Ability to lead a team for technical projects or project lead components of a larger project.
* The candidate should demonstrate the ability to build and manage internal and external relationships to gain buy:in and maximize results.
* As a senior technical member of the team, he or she should demonstrate an understanding of key business drivers and ensures technical solutions deliver business value in line with the company objectives.
* The candidate will need to provide leadership and guidance throughout WSI to leverage technology industry best practices.
* BA/BS or equivalent work experience, Masters is a plus.
* 8+ years experience in analyzing, designing, coding, testing, installing and maintaining complex applications that includes experience with project management, quality management, and development methodologies.
* 4+ years experience with .Net 2.0 through 4.5, primarily ASP.NET and windows console applications.
* 2+ years experience in the development and delivery of custom Dynamics CRM solutions with programming workflows and plug:in utilizing Dynamics CRM SKE and Web Services.
* Experience with T:SQL, SQL Server as well as java, Spring, Apache Tomcat and J2EE development.
* Demonstrated ability to instruct, guide and oversee the work of other team members.
* Enough practical experience to train others in decision making, risk assessment, job knowledge, analysis, and project management.
* Experience with interviewing, skills development, and directing others.
* Demonstrated planning and organizational skills.
* Considerable business knowledge, preferably in the retail industry.
* Technical expertise in data analysis, data design, system design, enterprise application integration, software testing, documentation.
