About the Role
As Manager of Email Marketing, youll develop, execute and evaluate email marketing campaigns to drive profitable sales, build our customer file and support growth initiatives for Williams Sonoma. Youll work closely with cross:functional teams including eCommerce, Merchandising, Creative, Inventory, eMail Technology Deployment, Database Marketing and Customer Analytics.

* Manage the planning, development and execution of email marketing programs, including broadly circulated brand messages, targeted campaigns based on customer segmentation and triggered campaigns based on cross:channel customer behavior.
* Own the eMail calendar, reporting, testing strategy and operational details, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of the job.
* Analyze and communicate results including key performance metrics on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. Apply learnings to future campaigns to improve results.
* Identify and implement new tests and tactics, continually seeking to innovate to drive improved results.
* Partner with peers on other WSI brands to share best practices in order to accelerate innovation. Coordinate cross:brand reporting and collaborate on key initiatives.
* Develop and manage the eMail address acquisition plan to continually build our file of quality names. Manage sweepstakes and other programs, working cross:functionally.
* Develop annual sales and cost budget. Manage monthly sales and cost forecasts, tracking back to budget; oversee monthly invoice and accrual processing.
* Analyze competitive marketplace and stay abreast of eMail industry trends.
* Write effective creative briefs that include campaign objectives and strategic messaging.
* Manage and develop two direct reports.

Were excited about you because you have the following qualifications...
* Minimum of 5+ years experience in eMail marketing, retail marketing strongly preferred
* Proven track record in managing and optimizing a budget to ROI goals
* Analytical, proactive, problem:solver with insatiable curiosity
* Able to see trends and to extract actionable insights from data to drive results
* Passionate about direct marketing; deep understanding of online consumer behavior
* Excellent communication, problem:solving and decision:making skills
* Self:motivated and detail:oriented, with excellent people and time:management skills
* Experience with an eMail analytics system preferred
* Microsoft Excel and Outlook skills a must
* Minimum Required: B.A., in Marketing, Business or related field
