Your role at Sephora:
As a Merchandising Planning Assistant, you will assist the Sephora Sampling team in order tracking. Reporting to Sampling Planning Manager you will communicate with brands to ensure on time shipping and receipts and partner to resolve trouble lane issues. In addition, you will:
:Sku creation and PO creation for the Sampling team for kitted projects (Play, Bags) across multiple worlds (i.e. Skincare, Hair, Color); Partner with Brand Marketing on ensuring proper information is given to write POs
:Maintain purchase order tracking tool and report out at weekly meetings, highlighting any risks, sending follow up and action steps; Coordinate movement of inventory outbound to kitters and ensure 100 of needed inventory arrives at kitter
:Input Manual Orders and coordinate with DCs for kitted inventory from DC to kitter
:Ensure on time PO writing/tracking from EXL (3rd party); Approve POs
:Create manual purchase orders and ad hoc sku creation as needed; Adjust/maintain purchase orders as needed and manage short ship orders
:Coordinate Third Party Logistics orders/sending skus out for relabeling and re:induction to DCs; Validating and processing invoices with Accounting for 3PL and kitting; Resolve issues surrounding inbound shipments and vendor errors (overs, shorts, damage); Open communication with 3rd party kitters on shipping, issues, timeliness (Bags, Play)
:Partner with the DC leadership teams to resolve complications involving transportation of POs and escalate to Brand Marketing team when needed; Resolve trouble lane skus at DCs; Process sku to sku transfers with DCs when sku hierarcy changes
