Are you a sales and marketing expert who loves content and wants to sharpen your writing skills?

We're looking for a seasoned sales and/or marketing professional with excellent writing chops to contribute to our monthly blog content.

The ideal person will, first and foremost, have plenty of expertise on the business of sales and/or marketing, including the process of sales prospecting and cold emailing.

What Your Job Looks Like:

- Work with editor to conceptualize and outline topics for articles
- Write 1-2 articles, 600-800 words, per month. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to contribute more in the future.
- Respond to and incorporate feedback from the editor
- Communicate about deadlines and processes in a professional, timely fashion

Qualifications:

- Comfortable with Slack, Skype, and Google Docs
- Bachelor's Degree required or at least 5-7 years' experience in a sales or marketing field
- Superior writing skills. We're not looking for perfection, but you must be able to translate thoughts into words with ease and sophistication
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong command of the English language
- Bonus: experience writing articles about B2B topics

This position can be remote. Currently, it is a contract/freelance role, but there are potential opportunities for full-time employment (even remote), depending on performance.

Compensation is competitive, based on experience with numerous opportunities for bonuses.

Our team is distributed around the United States, with people in Seattle, Los Angeles, New York, Louisville, Austin, San Francisco, etc. (Some of our writers are even currently traveling around the world on a year-long trip!) Everyone's pretty "Type A" and lives on Slack, so distance and time zones aren't much of an issue.
