The Subscription and Sampling Innovation Team runs the PLAY by SEPHORA subscription beauty box business in addition to developing new multi:category sampling programs to drive our brands business with Sephoras clients.
Your role at Sephora:
As a Senior Marketing Manager on the business, youre a business:minded marketer who is comfortable making recommendations based upon the business case, gathering cross:functional alignment, and responding to client needs. Reporting to the Sr. Director Marketing Program Development, you will have skills packaging new marketing offerings, understanding how to drive shared value between retail and brands, and analyzing/communicating results. In addition you will:
:Spearhead the marketing of the PLAY by Sephora program.
:Lead the assortment development of the PLAY base subscription and Premium boxes in partnership with Merchandising and Category Brand Marketers.
:Write briefs and manage content creation for all the PLAY by Sephora boxes. Content will be inclusive of printed, digital, social and video assets.
:Work closely with category focused Brand Marketing partners to get product strategy and key talking points needed for the program.
:Work closely with Social Media team to build support plans for PLAY and other marketing platforms
:Partner with Education and Events team on management of PLAY Dates 2.0 across the country.
:Drive projects to evolve and optimize Sephora and our brands approach to sampling at Sephora:
:Manage Sampling test and pilot programs to understand how they deliver against key company and brand goals, with a focus on instore sampling.
:Utilize CRM data to optimize brands investment in sampling programs and to understand new opportunities to drive sales through sampling programs
:Generate insights and recommend 360 degree marketing programs for sampling that balance the return on investment to our brands and Sephora

Were excited about you if you have:
:6+ years experience in marketing and/or brand management; agency, retail, and/or beauty industry experience preferred
:Strong digital, social media and non:traditional marketing background a plus
:Excellent technical skills : MS Office (specifically advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
:Proactive problem:solving skills; ability to anticipate obstacles and quickly generate alternate solutions/ideas
:Honed presentation skills; confidence in presenting point of view in multiple forums, including leadership level
:Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
:Exceptional organizational and time management skills
:Creative self:starter with can:do positive attitude and a roll:up:your:sleeves approach
:Personable and flexible with demands and changes in extremely fast:moving business environment
:Proven ability to lead, build relationships, and work effectively in a highly cross:functional team
:Ability to travel as required
