Position Summary:/h1:
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager, Operations Strategy to support in planning, scoping and running cross:functional Retail Operations projects. This position responsibility will require strong strategic skills, ability to negotiate operations needs across the organization and be able to manage multiple projects through cross:functional teams.
Role Responsibilities
:Track and provide regular updates to Retail Ops leadership on progress and obstacles on projects
:Present weekly updates of progress, obstacles and next steps to different levels in the organization
:Research industry standards and competitors to benchmark objectives and form a vision for execution
:Bring a specialized management consulting expertise to improve the bottom line performance of Sephora
:Work cross functionally to drive strategic projects and implement solutions in areas that include organizational effectiveness, strategic planning, and process improvements
:Support cross functional partners to drive processes, align on priorities and deliver a comprehensive plan including milestones/timing of work to be done, KPIs and communication/training for stores
:Influence Operations teams to work more effectively to influence change across the organization which aligns to Sephora's strategic plan
:Act as liaison with department leaders to develop, advise and implement efficiency gains
:Travel stores with field leaders to observe and advise on in store execution
:Four year college degree, graduate degree preferred
:Five plus years of experience, 2+ years of retail or management consulting experience preferred
:Excellent process improvement and analytical experience
:Strong vision for execution of processes and change management
:Strong organizational, time management, and problem solving skills
:Strong communication, presentation and intrapersonal skills
:Ability to provide effective feedback to multiple levels of people
