MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE Company: Amazon Web Services, Inc., an company Position Title: Solutions Architect III Location: San Francisco, CA Position Responsibilities: Build and migrate applications, software and services on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform. Partner with customers, AWS Sales and several other AWS teams to craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of AWS services. Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud. Conduct training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers. Author AWS customer:facing publications such as whitepapers. Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support.Position Requirements: BachelorA?s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered or as a Support Engineer or another related occupation. One year of experience in the job offered or related occupation must involve: demonstrated ability to strategize around business, technical and product challenges; hands:on implementation experience in an enterprise environment including experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to solutions leveraging distributed architectures; conducting infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking; using database and analytical technologies including MPP databases, noSQL storage, Data Warehouse design, BI reporting, and Dashboard development; and implementation and tuning for Apache Hadoop using Pig and Hive. Travel required up to 50 of the time.Applicants must meet all of the above listed requirements for this position.
