Web Analytics Data Manager Do you want to use data to make the world a better place? Are you passionate about the power of data quality and data organization? You will own the strategy and execution of web tracking for including Google Analytics and success event tracking for our many online advertising initiatives. YouA?ll partner closely across our Data Warehouse, Performance Marketing, SEO, AB testing, Analytics, and Data Science teams to establish a resilient and adaptable web tracking ecosystem for our worldwide web properties. The ideal candidate for this role should have strong analytical skills, thrive at the intersection of data, marketing and technology, and have experience designing and developing data collection from digital properties and into data warehousing systems. WHAT YOUA?LL DO:Define ongoing strategy for tagging and web event trackingManage a tag implementation team in the United StatesEstablish guidelines and processes to maintain the health of UberA?s web tracking ecosystem worldwide as new website features and locales launch.Govern access and setup of A?s Google Analytics self service portalWork closely with the engineering and data:warehouse teams to insure quality, accessibility, and consistency of data.Work closely with SEO, Performance Marketing, Web Traffic, and CRM analytics teams to understand data needs and find innovative ways to help themIdentify and scope projects that contribute to our understanding and communication of web data and performance.Manage multiple short:term and long:term projects simultaneously, under changing and challenging constraints. WHAT YOUA?LL NEED:6+ years marketing measurement, analytics and data analysis experience.Strong experience with Google Analytics including data taxonomy design and platform administration.Working understanding of marketing platforms (e.g. Google Adwords, Doubleclick, Facebook Ads), internet advertising technologies and marketing channel attributionProficiency in Tag Management software (e.g. Tealium, Google Tag Manager)Familiarity with JavaScript (especially as it relates to 3rd party tagging) required. Proficiency strongly preferred.Strong communication skills and ability to structure requirements and data for clear communication with multi:faceted teams including engineering, analytics, and marketingStrong execution and organization.
