Beautylish is looking for a Customer Experience Operations Specialist to review customer orders and accounts to ensure operational standards are met and any potential risk to our customers or the company is minimized. You will help ensure all of our customers have a consistently amazing experience shopping with Beautylish. We believe that an amazing customer experience is driven by a personal relationship with our customers. As an Operations Specialist, you will successfully guide our customers through any difficulties they encounter with their orders or accounts while maintaining the same level of exceptional service they receive during consultations or purchases. Our interactions with customers should not feel like transactions, but rather like an expert friend helping them out. We are looking for someone who enjoys interacting with and helping people, is obsessed about providing a high quality experience, and is a critical thinker who can quickly, accurately, and tactfully resolve account and order issues while simultaneously keeping customers happy and looking out for the best interests of the company. Your responsibilities will include: Promptly responding to incoming customer questions over email and phone Proactively following-up with customers & assisting in resolving account issues. Educating customers on maintaining their accounts in good standing. Reviewing accounts in past due status, working with customers to bring those accounts current, and determining future purchasing availability. Evaluating designated orders prior to shipment to minimize risk to Beautylish and our customers. Identifying common customer order and payment friction points and developing solutions to improve the experience. Identifying and reporting trends related to high-risk orders and accounts and recommending operational improvements for loss prevention. Being the eyes and ears of customers, reporting issues back to the company so it can continuously improve. Things we look for include: Availability Sunday through Thursday Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions independently. Exceptional communication skills over email, chat, and phone. Strong diplomacy and tact during sensitive conversations. A contagiously positive attitude. Ability to operate in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment. E-commerce or retail expertise Bachelor's degree We are looking for full-time people to work on-site in our San Francisco office.
