P39-01-60 Weekend Marina Patrol - Weekend Marina PatrolSPECIFIC DUTIES:Guest docking patrol duties:Check the security booth for late night guest check-ins and pick up boat registration list from the previous night.Get a marina list of all guests for the weekend, from the office staff.Walk the docks and check for unauthorized boats berthed in the marina.Be available to access guest to the gates when directed by the office staff.Walk the docks checking boats for broken or frayed lines, loose or broken cleats, waterlines that are low in the water and for debris.Check and verify findings with office staff.Tow logs and debris to the designated area in the marina.Warm up patrol boat, drive the boat around the marina and be as visible as possible between 10:00am and 2:00pmCheck maintenance list and do what is possible while being visible to guest and available to the marina office staff.Operates the marina patrol boat.Provides emergency pump service to boats taking on water.Monitors marina for unauthorized boats.Monitors waterline, electrical and dock lines of the boats.Tows tenant boats, debris, and deceased sea lions as directed.Maintain positive and customer service oriented tenant relations. Dock/Marina Maintenance:Provides repair and maintenance and refurbishment of dock fingers and walkways.Performs routine repairs, maintenance and replacement of dock side mechanical, electrical, and plumbing and pump out systems.Provides emergency response for immediate dock repairs or maintenance.Investigates and reports environmental hazard spills in the marina.Maintains and replace parts for the navigation lights on the break water. Buildings and Facilities:Provides repair and maintenance of marina building facilities.Performs routine repairs, maintenance and repleacement of marina building facilities mechanical, electrical and plumbing.Provides emergency response for immediate marina building facilities and maintenance. Other:Washes down seal lion floats with saltwater pump.Maintains equipment, tools and vehicles.Report any safety hazards to supervisor for investigation.Complete worksheet log daily.Keep work shop clear of hazardous or flammable items.Wear appropriate safety equipment for specific jobs; for example life jackets when operating the patrol boat or when on the break wall. Safety goggles when operating power tools.Drives the company truck and electrical vehicle for marina related duty (ie supply runs, and garbage pick-up).Performs special duties as assigned.Completes building and dock maintenance inspection walkthroughs and supplies supervisor with list of issues requiring maintenance.Performs tenant wellbeing checks as directed by supervisor.Writes purchase orders when required by supervisor.EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS:Education:* HS Diploma/GED Equivalent* Minimum 2-year(s) work boat handlingLicenses/Certifications:* CPR - Certificate Preferred (can provide)* Marina Maintenance Construction experienceMisc:* Ability to swim MARINAPIER39Can you think of a better way to be outdoors?
