Our Private Client Services business was founded more than four decades ago as a family office for Capital Group's senior executives and their families. We have since expanded into a full:service wealth management and trust company, overseeing some 22 billion in assets for a select group of discriminating high:net:worth individuals, trusts, foundations and endowments nationwide. Though we are an exclusive boutique, and maintain a relatively small number of client relationships, we are able to tap into in:depth, world:class research and portfolio management experience from around the globe.
The Private Client Services (PCS)Administrative Assistant is a key member of the team and will be responsible for supporting the needs of aregional directorand the broader department in a deadline:driven environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient. The ideal candidate must be exceedingly well:organized, have strong multitasking skills, enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting a fast:paced department, and have a strong inclination to work in a team:oriented environment. Attention to detail is as important as keeping an eye on the big picture, as is the ability to balance the two perspectives. Forward:thinking individuals will excel in this role if they can anticipate the daily needs of management and identify opportunities to improve work processes for themselves and the department.
Responsibilities:
:
calendar management
:
scheduling/coordination of details for meetings with internal and external contacts
:
managing travel arrangements
:
completing and tracking expense reports
:
organization and maintenance of information that may be sensitive, confidential or technical in nature
:
exercising good judgment to effectively manage multiple projects with shifting priorities
:
attending and participating in designated calls and meetings
:
file management
:
distributing, collecting, and tracking documents and documenting processes
:
producing general correspondence, reports and presentations
:
The Administrative Assistant may work on special projects and perform additional responsibilities as assigned. The associate works independently, referring questions/clarifications to managers or other appropriate resources.
Qualifications:
:
The position requires a minimum of 2:3 years of previous administrative experience in a corporate environment, supporting at least one senior executive
:
Previous experience in financial services strongly preferred
:
Strong accuracy and attention to detail
:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
:
Professional attitude and demeanor
:
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a timely manner
:
Proficiency in Windows, including Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
:
Proven ability to review data and create and maintain charts in Excel
:
Experience with electronic calendaring (Outlook)
