Our Private Client Services business was founded more than four decades ago as a family office for Capital Groups senior executives and their families. We have since expanded into a full:service wealth management and trust company, overseeing some 22 billion in assets for a select group of discriminating high:net:worth individuals, trusts, foundations and endowments nationwide. Though we are an exclusive boutique, and maintain a relatively small number of client relationships, we are able to tap into in:depth, world:class research and portfolio management experience from around the globe.
The Client Account Associate is a key member of the Private Client Services team, working directly with the Client Relationship Team, and is responsible for account opening, cash management, record retention and account maintenance.
:Gather client information from multiple sources and sets client accounts up on CG and custodian systems.
Conduct review and approval of workflows to ensure completeness and accuracy of documents and compliance with applicable business and regulatory parameters.
Perform a review of account documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Set:up client access to the : website, statements, tax reporting, prospectus and other.
Work with the Client Relationship Team to address the on:going needs of client accounts and ensures changes made are properly authorized and systems are updated accordingly.
Assist in audit requests by working with the PCS Business Liaison and others within PCS to gather information and present the documentation in an organized manner.
Coordinate cash processing including, but not limited to monitoring cash balances, managing ticklers/account alerts, and processing client requests as received.
Review client authorization documentation and completes CG and external systems set:up.
Coordinate the distribution of client documents, notice mailings, mass document up:loads and select external facing communications.
Participate in intra:departmental peer review efforts and projects.
:2+ years experience in the financial or investment management industry and proven client servicing abilities.
Excellent communication skills including strong written, verbal and listening skills.
Strong initiative, teamwork and organizational skills are essential with the ability to prioritize multiple requests from a variety of sources.
Analytical skills and strong technical skills along with attention to detail.
The ability to forge relationships with others inside and outside Capital Group that are based on mutual respect, loyalty and trust.
Bachelors Degree preferred.
