Overview Light Street Special Education Solutions (a division of Learn It Systems (helps schools succeed by providing comprehensive special education programs and services. Come join a fun, flexible, team-building environment as a Speech-Language Pathologist working with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing population. Responsibilities Provide direct service delivery as indicated by childA cents € (TM) s IEP and/or Treatment Plan Complete related service procedures: treatment planning, record keeping, and progress reporting Develop IEPs and/or Treatment Plans Develop supplementary documents and/or materials relevant to treatment goals and implementation Participate in IEP meetings and/or parent progress meetings Administer evaluations and complete written evaluation report Communicate proactively and effectively with learnersA cents € (TM) parents regarding progress and/or concerns Communicate effectively with instructional staff regarding learnersA cents € (TM) strengths and needs within the speech-language domain Provide materials relevant to learnersA cents € (TM) strengths and needs to parents and/or instructional staff Participate in intra- and inter-disciplinary professional development (meetings, in-services, etc.) Maintain cleanliness and integrity of therapy materials and school environment Provide yearly training to instructional staff Provide training to related service staff twice per academic year Mentor and/or supervise students in the speech-language pathology community Communicate concerns to Clinical Coordinator Other duties as assigned Qualifications To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Ability to work independently Ability to use initiative in taking the first steps or to act without being urged to complete projects and/or work Education/Experience: Master's in speech-language pathology Passed the Praxis Maintain license per ASHA requirements Light Street Special Education Solutions/Learn It Systems offers a competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits plan, 401(k), paid holidays and personal time off.
