GENERAL SUMMARY

The Cash Management Sales Consultant is responsible to identify, present and deliver cash management solutions to established customers and prospects. The candidate will train bank personnel to understand Cathay Bank's cash management solutions and identify cash management sales opportunities. The Cash Management Sales Consultant is responsible to help branches and lending teams attain their assigned cash management revenue goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

* Meet with clients and prospects to assess cash management needs, discuss initiatives and recommend effective strategies, and follow-up appropriately.

* Meet or exceed sales revenue, calling, and proposal goals.

* Partner with relationship managers and branch staff to identify and develop cash management solutions for clients and prospects.

* Collaborate with relationship managers and branch staff to develop cross-sell strategies and update Cathay Bank personnel on product enhancements.

* Work with clients and Cash Management Implementations team to deliver a seamless transition to Cathay Bank.

* Team up with internal partners (Cash Management Implementation and Service and Product Management team) to improve the \"client experience,\" through continuous improvement.

Minimum qualifications/requirements:

* Education: Bachelor's degree with major in Finance, Marketing, Business or equivalent work experience required.

* Experience: Three to five years of Cash Management sales or sales support experience.

* Skills/Ability: Strong written and verbal communications skills. Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with all levels of management. Effective project management skills. Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills. Ability to travel 20-40% within their assigned territory.
