Position Summary
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) provides leadership and partnership to management and employees to deliver a spectrum of strategic and tactical HR support and programs, which are aligned with Sephora's strategic, financial and talent goals. This role takes ownership and accountability for key business departments and provides data and recommendations to guide decision:making related to compensation, organizational structures, retention, promotions, and other employee:related activities. The HRBP is a constant champion for Sephora's principles based culture and core values.
Duties and Responsibilities:
:Support executive onboarding program, including the facilitation of new leader assimilations
:Serve as change champions in support of HR/Talent initiatives and functional strategy
:Analyze trends/metrics to develop solutions
:Support teambuilding initiatives
:Coach employees on policy and procedure applications, employment/labor laws, conflict resolution, and change management to promote a fair and equitable work environment
Engage and Retain
:Culture/engagement surveys and action:planning support
:Facilitate succession planning/talent reviews
:Career conversations/stay interviews
:Coach and advise where appropriate to help employees grow and develop in alignment with business and personal goals
Learn and Develop
:Identify 360, assessment, executive coaching needs and initiate with Talent Management
:Assess/identify training needs for leadership development
Reward and Recognize
:Compensation : educate clients on compensation practices and partner with Comp team to ensure equity and competitive pay
:Recognition programs and perks : in partnership with Culture and Benefits teams
Skills and Characteristics:
:Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and internet navigation
:Strong interpersonal communication skills, including influencing and ability to encourage innovation
:Highly collaborative style. Willingness and demonstrated ability to work in teams.
:Strong problem:solving skills
:Ability to effectively work with ambiguity and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast:paced environment
:Good attention to detail
:Sound judgment and discretion; able to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
Experience/Education Required:
:5:7 years experience in Human Resources
:Experience in working collaboratively with senior leaders
:Prior employee relations experience
:College degree preferred
