Job Overview
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for performing a variety of human resource support duties/ administrative tasks. Providing high quality customer service, the Human Resources Coordinator participates in areas of recruiting, onboarding, database management, employee compliance and more.
Key Responsibilities
Recruiting Responsibilities:
Assists in developing job announcements for open positions. Posts available jobs internally and externally and ensure all postings are up to date. Research new job boards as needed. Attends job fairs as the agency representative as needed.
Onboarding Responsibilities:
Supports the new hire onboarding process which may include: preparing documents, producing offer letters, completing I9 documents, setting up employees on the timeclock, scanning paperwork, communicating with new hires etc. Serves as a backup presenter for new staff orientations.
Administrative Responsibilities:
Responds to inquiries from employees and processes employment
information/verification and subpoena requests consistent with agency policies and confidentiality requirements. Review and respond to Unemployment notices in a timely manner. Scans and purges employee files. Maintains agency employee compliance records to ensure files are up to date and organized. Enter compliance information accurately in HRIS and coordinates compliance audits. Support tracking and follow:up of credentialing/re:credentialing agency providers. Coordinates termination process and conducts and data enters exit interviews for departing employees. Conducts background and exclusion list checks for all applicants, employees and interns.
HRIS/Reporting Responsibilities:
Inputs HR data into the HRIS (Human Resource Information System) timely, ensuring accuracy. Generates HR reports using HRIS and Excel for additional manipulation of data. Maintains/tracks various HR reports for the organization.
And, other duties as assigned.
Education and Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
:Bachelors degree (preferably in Business, Organizational Development, or Human Resources)
:Entrepreneurial Spirit with strong desire to succeed
:Excellent communication skills, including ability to train and communicate with all levels of employees
:Excellent Customer Service skills
:Well organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks in a busy and dynamic environment
:Advanced computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, and
:Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive and non:routine information
:Ability to thrive under pressure; diplomatically multi:task and cope with uncertainty
:Ability to appropriately manage confidential and sensitive information
