Key Account Manager

Job Purpose : Responsible for supporting the Head of Sales with the planning, organization and implementation of Sales, and closing new business in the specialized market of Neuro:Molecular Imaging within large specialty physician practices and specialty imaging facilities.
:Assists in establishing product as a novel tool into the patient care pathway of cognitively impaired patients.
:Develops and executes commercial and educational plans, strategies and programs designed to address imaging and referring customer needs while increasing sales, profits, and market share and minimizing expenses.
:Responsible for design and execution of effective Sales, and Commercial strategies in collaboration with Senior Management
:Effectively introduces our company, our brand and product to Nuclear and Molecular Imaging departments and Referring physician offices
:Designs strategies to capitalize on sales opportunities and ensures that strategic plans complement market place needs
:Drives sales in an assigned territory through lead generation, referrals and establishing relationships with prospective customers
:Develop and agree a list of key accounts and PET centers for targeted activities and implement site specific strategies appropriate to account needs
:Works collaboratively with team members as well as radio:pharmaceutical partner and industry key opinion leaders to ensure maximal synergies and transparency
:Targets and closes new imaging center accounts while educating and promoting to accounts Neurologists and other specialty physicians
:Promotes and grows revenue through value:add services and reader training/support programs
:Assists in project management and coordination of field activities
:Partners with hospital based and outpatient based imaging centers and their physician representatives to fulfill referral touch service
:Provide subject matter expertise for nuclear medicine physicians, referring neurologists and specialists
:Utilizes knowledge in reimbursement to accomplish value:add offering and service to our customers
Additional Skills Required:
:Updates and monitors the feasibility of strategic plans on an on:going basis
:Utilizes CRM for routing, processes and reporting of all activities
:Researches and analyzes environmental and competitive conditions, customer needs
:Ensures that sales activities are cost effective, efficient, and within established budget constraints
:Make certain that sales plans, goals, and policies are consistent with established goals
:Actively identifies new revenue opportunities
:Maintains in:depth knowledge of products, operations, and systems
:Leverages current alliances and customer relationships to further expand business development opportunities at all levels
:Confirms that current and future third party contracts are expanded and developed to maximum potential
:Works compliantly with company policies and government regulations
:Prepares proposals and negotiates contracts with third parties with Piramal legal oversight
:Assists and supports related departments; obtains and conveys information as needed
:A degree in science, business, marketing or life sciences with a background in radiology/imaging, neurology sales, clinical neuro:imaging or relevant experience is required for this position.
:Knowledge in Healthcare Industry with five years of previous Neurology, radio:pharmaceutical or molecular imaging industry experience is preferred.
