Position DescriptionStag seeks a Logistics Lead to provide excellent event production support and inventory management.

This is a part-time employee position, 20-30 hours per week (with greater variation based on business needs), based at Stags San Francisco headquarters.

This individual will be joining a team of professionals who thrive on mutual respect and collaboration, hard work, and thoughtful, efficient systems and communication.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Event production support

Pull items indicated on picklist put together by Event Producer and stage the items for event load out (generally the day before an event)Schedule, pick up, and return rental vans and trucks

Assist with loading vans, driving to and from event venues, and unloading and staging at venues as needed

Assist with unloading vans back at HQ, organizing inventory that needs cleaning or maintenance, and putting inventory away

Inventory management

Maintain physical organization and written records of Stags Front of House inventory, including: large event infrastructure pieces (like mobile bars), decor, servingware, bar equipment, durable and compostable dinnerware, linens, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and cleaning kitsPerform routine maintenance and necessary repairs on durable inventory itemsTrack, proactively order, and restock consumables (such as compostable plates or sugar packets for coffee service), and make other purchases as requiredKeep storage areas and workspaces organized and cleanPerform other logistics-related tasks as needed

Qualifications and skills:

This is not a desk job--you should have the ability to be on your feet for a whole shift (and be excited by the prospect of doing so!)You have basic software skills needed for using email, spreadsheets, etc.

You need the ability to lift at least 75 lbsYou need a clean driving record and comfort operating large utility vehicles (such as vans and box trucks)You are process- and systems-oriented

You are a professional and proactive communicator

You have good time management skills and are a self-starter

You appreciate variety in your work and like to do different things every day

You are a both a proactive and reactive problem-solver: you can anticipate issues and identify solutions in advance, and you can also think quickly on your feet to help deliver in a pinch

Related experience required; for example: warehouse, delivery, and/or retail (stocking, merchandising, inventory management, etc.)
