JOB DESCRIPTION
Execute online business, merchandise, visual, and marketing strategies for the textiles division within the PBteen brand in order to maximize sales. Identify opportunities and recommend new concepts to retain current and attract new customers in order to grow the brand reach. Work collaboratively cross:functionally with creative, merchandising, e:marketing, and inventory teams to ensure flawless execution. Participate in a dynamic, fast:paced, and fun team environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Responsible for overall site design, visual merchandising, and functionality of the textiles categories online : this includes bedding, rug, window, bath, and bedding accessories.
* Collaborate with the Internet Creative team to develop images, content, layouts, features, promotions, and landing pages within the website to drive product sales and provide an overall aesthetically:pleasing shopping experience.
* Review seasonal budget plans and develop coordinating website merchandising strategies in order to achieve sales and gross margin goals.
* Work closely with the Inventory Planning team to understand and anticipate product availability. Manage weekly and seasonal promotion execution in close coordination with the Inventory Planning team.
* Analyze sales on a daily and weekly basis to identify wins, misses and immediate/future opportunities. Communicate findings to cross:functional partners.
* Analyze site metrics to connect web behavioral profiles to customer, sales, and merchandising data.
* Participate in seasonal and weekly site testing in order to ensure correct presentation and product data integrity.
* Participate in eCommerce photo shoots and advise stylists and producers in order to execute the visual strategy.
* Review catalog photography schedules to determine additional photography needs for website.
* Attend key product development and product life:cycle meetings.
* Keep abreast of market trends, consumer trends, competition, customer service issues, and eCommerce technology and dynamics.
* Manage an Associate Merchandise Manager to assist with all tasks and strategy execution.
* Other projects as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
* 3+ years eCommerce, retail or catalog merchandising experience
* Proven analytical and business planning skills
* Strong aesthetic instincts and ability to visually merchandise
* Able to make timely decisions, anticipate problems, and provide creative solutions
* Well:organized, detail:oriented, and passionate about high:quality work
* Able to deal with ambiguity in a fast:paced environment
* Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new applications quickly
* Strong affinity for the product/concept
* Ability and desire to effectively lead and develop others
