Grand Rounds provides employers with a medical benefit that enables its employees to get medical second opinions, office visits, and emergent care from the top medical experts nationwide within each specialty. When a case is initiated, the Care Team aggregates comprehensive data on each patient, and then connects that patient with a leading medical provider for his or her condition. Patients access our expert network of physicians either locally, through in-office visits, or via remote expert opinions, through our virtual clinic.
Grand Rounds orchestrates the analytics, expertise, and technology needed to deliver quality outcomes and cost savings to groups ranging from 1,000 employees to Fortune 50 employers. Role Overview:
We re committed to providing positive outcomes to patients across the world. At Grand Rounds, a Mid Market Sales Director furthers that mission by selling our suite of products through our broker and channel partners and directly to customers with less than 5,000 participants, so they can offer a world class healthcare experience to their employees, and employees family members. We are looking for results-oriented sales leaders to join our team and continue our rapid pace of customer growth. You will learn about the quickly changing healthcare industry, and embody the Grand Rounds passion for saving lives through better healthcare quality.

During your first 30 days, you will:
    • Onboard with the Grand Rounds team in San Francisco, and engage in internal learning
    • Quickly develop an understanding of our products and become highly knowledgeable with our offerings
    • Partner with appropriate Grand Rounds Market Lead to come up to speed quickly on respective market dynamics, targets and opportunities
    • Begin developing Year 1 Sales plan
    • Tap your strong network of buyers or influencers to identify major sales opportunities
    • Ride along with Market Lead on Sales calls for learning purposes
During your first 60 days, you will:
    • Establish your sales territory and familiarize yourself with potential local enterprise customers
    • Make introductions to your network and future customers regarding Grand Rounds
    • Work with Grand Rounds Market Lead to secure meetings with target enterprise organizations and to conduct joint Sales meetings with Market Lead and/or other senior Sales professionals
During your first 90 days, you will:
    • Schedule customer meetings
    • Create the beginnings of a sales pipeline
    • Finalize your Sales plan and secure sign-off from territory Market Lead (your Manager)
    • Work with benefits and employee rewards professionals within target companies to incorporate Grand Rounds into their employee benefits offerings
    • Forge working relationships with key healthcare Consultants in territory
    • Expand Grand Rounds customer base by selling throughout your assigned territory
    • Identify opportunities for Grand Rounds to scale service footprint within enterprise customers
    • Focus on process improvements that continue to improve our sales cycle and frameworks
    • Establish and further productive working relationships with key Consultants in assigned territory (leverage model)
    • Maintain CRM hygiene and diligence in tracking / recording all work activities to ensure accurate forecasting
    • Represent Grand Rounds culture and passion for enabling better health in all business dealings
    • Travel as necessary
    • Solid knowledge of healthcare benefits landscape and evolution
    • Strong relationship building ability; you like building and finding win-win agreements
    • Proven ability to leverage market experts to forge relationships with target customers
    • Strong track record of consistently meeting / exceeding large yearly quotas in the enterprise segment
    • Successful experience working with decision-makers at the highest levels within organizations
    • Experience successfully selling complex products / services with long sales cycles
    • Consultative approach to sales (understanding pain-points of customers and addressing their needs through solutions selling)
    • Solid understanding of customer and revenue generation
    • Strong referenceable enterprise customers
    • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM preferred
