Were looking for an individual who thrives in a fast:moving environment, is an expert at defining processes and executing timelines, works well cross:functionally and is eager to test and try out new retail technology. The Sephora Innovation Labs mission is to identify opportunities to innovate the client experience across, radically and rapidly, by taking risks, pioneering in new spaces and employing new technologies.
In this role, you will act as Project Manger for a strategic innovation program including: defining project timelines and scope; collaborating with cross:functional teams; leading project testing and analytics efforts; and managing communications and reporting to Innovation Lab and Sephora team leadership.


Bring product development best practices to the Innovation Lab programs to identify new opportunities and prioritize features and phasing for programs
:Understands fundamentals of all phases of product development and has strong cosmetics category expertise
:Collaborates with merchandising and brand partners on opportunities
:Creates and distributes product development requests, writing specific specifications for R and D
:Manages team through in:market issues in pilot and launch phases of development
Manage project timelines and organize team efforts for the Innovation Labs pilot and launch programs
:Define and communicate timelines with cross:functional team and partners
:Manage to program plan; schedule meetings with appropriate stakeholders to assure progress across all aspects of the program
:Quickly adapt and adjust to changes in direction and shifts in priority
:Collect, organize and track all project:related assets, requirements/specs, and documentation
Test and QA pilot and launch phases of programs to ensure a successful launch
:Using a customer point of view, confirm what is working as expected and identify areas where there are opportunities
:Understand Sephora business operations and training considerations, define success criteria for retail success, test for compliance
:Collect, analyze and report out on results
:Be thorough and detail:oriented, as well as proactively calling out what can be better
Prepare compelling presentations to assist in the communication of Innovation Lab initiatives to key stakeholders
:Create visual representations that quickly explain complex ideas using PowerPoint, Word
:Clearly articulate the main points of each initiative and adapt as needed to address the specific needs of each audience


:4 year Bachelors degree
:MBA desired
:At least 7:10 years of relevant experience in project/product management, innovation, new business development, strategy, and/or management consulting; marketing and merchandising experience a plus.
:Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and deliver against multiple, concurrent programs
:Hands on cosmetic product development experience a must
:Highly organized, detail:oriented, responsible, self:motivated
:Excellent written and verbal communication skills

:Self:motivated, flexible and driven with a desire to work in a fast:paced, multi:channel department
