The VP of Finance, Talent and Operations will lead the strategic and operational responsibility for all financial and administrative functions of the organization. She/he will manage a portfolio of work that includes finance and budget, information technology, talent and workplace culture, and operations and systems management for an 8 million, fast:growing nonprofit. The VP will be part of CYWA?s senior management team including the CEO, Executive Director, and Medical Director, to drive the overall strategy for the organization and ensure the success and sustainability of the organization.The VP will report directly to the ED and manage the following team members:Director of Finance and OperationsDirector of Contracts and GrantsHuman Resources ManagerLeadershipWork in partnership with the ED and CYWA?s senior management team to develop the strategic direction of the organization and make ongoing strategic decisions to ensure the success of CYWEmbrace and enhance culture of accountability for implementation of plans and outcomes measurementEnsure a professional, safe and family friendly environment for all families and staff through effective facility and cultural practices across the organizationFinanceWork closely with the ED and members of the finance and leadership team to perform long range financial forecasting and set strategy for the financial future of CYWLead the development of the organizationA?s annual budget with the Director of Finance by providing strategic vision and supporting CYWA?s directors in goal setting and staffing for their programsManage the organizationA?s financial, budgeting, compliance and administrative processes : including talent, payroll and facilities management functions : and work to continuously develop and improve the systemsReview and approve preparation and finalization of monthly and annual financial reporting materials and metrics for the CEO and CYWA?s Board of DirectorsHuman ResourcesDirect all talent functions for the organization including recruitment, training, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and performance evaluationSpecifically create a robust recruitment and retention strategy to attract and keep exceptional staff at the CYWDevelop a strong culture of talent management and staff developmentOperationsRepresent CYW with external stakeholders in all negotiations and transactions that require financial, human resources or operational considerationAnalyze current infrastructure and determine the next level of information technology, data systems and financial tools that support the growth of specific programs and the organization overallExperience:10+ years of experience in a senior leadership role at an entrepreneurial growth:focused nonprofit or business with demonstrated success in finance, talent management, systems design, operations, and administrationDeep knowledge of nonprofit budgeting, fiscal management and complianceUnderstanding of best practices regarding administrative processes and systems including finance, HR, legal/compliance issues, facility management and technology managementExperience building and implementing effective employee recruitment, retention and performance management practicesSkills:Ability to take an action:oriented, entrepreneurial, flexible and innovative approach to operational managementSkilled negotiator and relationship builder with the ability to lead effective teams, develop strong culture, and build partnerships for CYWAnalytic decision maker with the ability to prioritize and effectively communicate key objectives and tactics necessary to achieve organizational goals to staffPersonal Characteristics:Ability to thrive in a fast:paced, collaborative and mission:driven environmentMust be passionate, humble, hold a high degree of integrity, bring a positive attitude, be mission:driven and a self:directed inspiring leaderEducation:MBA, MPA or an advanced degree in Finance, Management and OperationsPreferred:Experience working
