Director, Product Management
We are seeking a Director of Product Management to define and execute the mobile app product portfolio. After seeing high engagement and differentiation with our flagship app, we plan to build on its success and make investments to be positioned as a health app leader
Role Description
As Director of Product Management, you will be responsible for setting direction and driving our strategic mobile app initiative. You will have a significant strategic impact and influence the direction of the company while being directly responsible for new products as well as our new app. You will collaborate closely with an amazing team of talented and passionate product designers and engineers as well as other key stakeholders across business functions. You are highly analytical but also an out:of:the:box thinker with a strong creative mind.
In this role, you will lead a product team to build an extensible platform with must:have apps for people with chronic conditions. By offering unique and engaging experiences to these audiences, this critical business initiative aligns perfectly with a mission to build a stronger, healthier world.
Responsibilities
:
Lead the cross:functional mobile apps swimlane : in close partnership with engineering and design : to create and ship delightful products that help people live better and receive emotional support
:
Advance our mobile app strategy at the intersection of social, support and information by prioritizing new features and facilitating development of new apps for new audiences.
:
Drive consumer research. Lead the analysis of competitive environment, customers, and product metrics to determine the right feature set to drive engagement and usage
:
Work closely with editorial and marketing teams to develop personas and deeply understand and address user needs
:
Grow and support a talented team who embody values, have fun together and take pride in building products that impact peoples lives
:
Strong quantitative and problem:solving skills; high attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
:
A natural collaborator with a proven ability to work across teams to get things done
Requirements
:
5+ years of experience in consumer app product management or product marketing
:
Proven leadership managing and growing a strong PM team
:
Can demonstrate positive performance and metric growth from a portfolio of products
:
Strategic product thinker with a track record of identifying new opportunities in a changing technical and market landscape
:
User:driven approach embodied in past work on delightful products users love
:
Demonstrated technical proficiency and effectiveness working closely with engineers
:
Strong communication, influence, and cross:functional collaboration skills. Ability to create clarity and drive focus in complex and dynamic content
:
A listener. You understand that the best ideas can come from anywhere and you foster a culture of innovation that leads to the best products
