Job Description Summary Hello Stewardship provides a wide range of services forlocal government through the professional management of Below Market Rate (BMR)homeownership and rental programs. Hello Stewardship also provides directservices to market-rate developers to ensure fair marketing and sale ofaffordable homes developed as a result of inclusionary housing policy. BMRhomeownership services include program (re)design and refinement, annualcompliance monitoring, marketing and education for aspiring homeowners,calculation of affordable sales prices and rents, assessing homebuyers foreligibility, approving & processing refinances and nurturing a pool ofqualified lenders and title companies. BMR rental services include annualcompliance monitoring, assessing tenants for eligibility, identifying qualifiedtenants as units turnover, and coordination with property managers for rentaldevelopments produced as a result of inclusionary housing policy. Under the supervision of the Program Director, the ProgramManager is responsible for the day-to-day management of specific HelloStewardship contracts. Job Description Provide active managementof portfolios of Below Market Rate (BMR) homes and Down Payment Assistance(DPA) loans for multiple cities which includes marketing affordable homes,calculating affordable prices; assessing applicants for eligibility; waitlistmanagement; coordinating with lenders and title companies; and helping aspiringhomebuyers, existing homeowners and renters navigate complicated programs; Fall in love withHomeKeeper, a Salesforce platform, as a workflow and data management tool; Present educational workshopsto aspiring renters, buyers and existing BMR homeowners about the programrequirements and purchase process; Share housingopportunities as they arise with Hello Housing’s interest list (via itse-newsletter Stay Connected); Ensure Hello Housing’swebsite content for portfolio cities is current, clear and informative for thegeneral public; Respond to City requestsfor information; Track billable activitiesas provided for in BMR contracts with cities; Work with Program Directorto renew annual contracts, making changes to scope or pricing as needed; Support Program Directorin Inclusionary Sales campaigns (selling brand new affordable homes on behalfof market-rate developers); and Represent Hello Housingat housing-related events and trainings. Performs otherassignments as requested. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degreerequired (may be substituted with 2+ years ofwork experience in a related field.) Two years of workexperience in a real-estate related field (eg title company, lending,paralegal, real estate development, nonprofit housing) required. Experience in BMR rentalprogram management a plus. Superior writing skillsrequired. Superior attention todetail required. A natural interest insolving problems with a smile. Proficiency in Spanish orMandarin a plus. Proficient usingSalesforce a plus. Ability to satisfactorilypass a background screening and fingerprinting clearance. Demonstrated computerskills, proficient in using CRM software (Salesforce), Microsoft Office (Excel,Word, PowerPoint, etc.), and other needed software. Ability to travel asneeded to service Hello Stewardship contracts. Must have validCalifornia driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of current autoinsurance policy.
