Our Bar/Restaurant Floor Manager has responsibility for assisting the Restaurant General Manager with the direct supervision of the Restaurant Food and Beverage floor operations. This position directly supervises colleagues and ensures department goals and budgets are being met. Work hours/days vary as dictated by business needs, and includes weekends and holidays.

:Supervise, guide and direct Food and Beverage employees. Provide accurate reports and feedback on performance to the Restaurant General Manager.
:Recommend personnel actions, such as promotions, transfers, discharges, and disciplinary measures to the Restaurant General Manager.
:Assist servers and hosts on the floor during peak meal periods.
:Supervise daily restaurant operations, establishing and maintaining dining room policies and procedures.
:Ensure entire menu is available daily and hours of operation are strictly adhered to.
:Responsible to assist in the development, implementation and daily follow:up of propertys marketing plan and sales promotion effort.
:Meet or exceed units sales and profit objectives. Maintain payroll, food, and liquor costs at or below budget percentages and controllable costs below budget.
:Monitor and inspect food and beverage deliveries.
:Inspect food and beverage outlets for proper storage, sanitation, security, neatness and rotation of inventory.
:Conduct monthly beverage inventories.
:Ensure guest satisfaction in terms of food and beverage, hospitality and service standards.
:Circulate throughout the dining room and engage with guests.
:Coordinating large parties, and VIPs, groups and individuals.
:Provide a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with safety programs, Health Department requirements and job safety analysis.
:Establish and maintain an effective communication and information system through logs, emails, weekly meetings, and open communication with all departments.
:Supervise and reconcile cash controls for each shift in attendance.
:Provide feedback for and implement menus for special functions.
:Perform other duties as directed, developed or assigned.

:Previous food supervisory experience in a similar industry.
:Bar and Beverage experience is required.
:Demonstrated leadership success in previous roles and ability to develop strong relationships with colleagues at all levels of the organization
:Ability to think critically and objectively and make quick decisions based on business demands
:Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, colleagues and other business partners
:Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
:Ability to effectively deal with colleagues, managers and external customers
:Ability to exercise judgment in evaluating situations and utilize appropriate resources
