Job Description:/h3:
:Observe your guests during their meal or time at the Bar, ensure their satisfaction with their experience at Hakkasan, speak to management for prompt action to be taken if you note any dissatisfaction amongst the guests at your tables
:Be familiar with the guests on the reservations list, especially guests regarded as PX (VIP) and our regular guests
:Welcome the guests and seat them with care if needed (assisting with tables and chairs, etc.)
:Provide friendly, courteous and professional service at all times
:Recognize guests and remember the names of the regulars. Be in constant communication with managers and reception about the satisfaction of our guests
:Pass all messages or requests of guests to management as soon as they are received
:Communicate with the whole bar team to ensure the business runs smoothly and the guests receive our best attention
:Be fully prepared for the guests you are expecting, ensure your sections are ready for service per Hakkasan specifications
:Aim to give the best possible service, in the least obtrusive manner
:Vigilance must be shown at all times to try and minimize both customer and staff theft
:Adhere to all responsible alcohol consumption requirements as directed by the state. Follow up with diners at critical points during the meal. Assume ultimate responsibility of guest satisfaction while dining
:Inform management if any actions on the part of either a customer or a member of staff, in any way may jeopardize the restaurants liquor license
:Maintain the safety and security of the restaurant/bar premises as a priority and take responsibility for the security of the restaurant/bar premises and property
:Provide friendly, courteous and professional service at all times
:Recognize guests and remember the names of the regulars and be in constant communication with managers and reception about the satisfaction of our guests
:Maintain complete knowledge of table/seat/station numbers, proper table set up, room capacity, hours of operations, menus, price range and dress code of assigned outlet
:Be fully conversant with the geographical layout of the operation and to know the exact whereabouts of all operational equipment
:Be aware of the Companys leadership team and know their extension numbers, locations and positions
:Work as a team, assisting all guests and employees needs and inquiries
:Be aware of all the information related to Hakkasan, i.e., head office, other related operations, their addresses, etc.
:Be aware of major attractions in the city, i.e., cinemas, bars, theatres, hotels, shows, nightclubs, etc.
:Opening and closing times for all our properties, as well as last order times
Opening and closing side work may include the followings:
:Perform all assigned duties as detailed in your opening, afternoon and closing checklists
:Learn daily specials and limited availability items, check the daily bar and chefs reports (86:list)
:Attend pre:shift briefings and any scheduled meetings as directed by management
:Learn the bar layout and section plan, memorize section names, table and position numbers; know the capability of the tables in each section
:Stock up the restaurants side stations for the shift to specified par levels (glasses, cutlery, chinaware, condiments, napkins, tea cups, tea pots, sugar bowls, black cloths, trays, etc.)
:Make sure all equipment is clean and in good condition and continue replenishing stock throughout your shift
:Perform daily cleaning jobs assigned to you in a thorough and timely manner
:Take orders and enter the orders into the POS system promptly and accurately
:Ensure all the food and drinks are served according to Hakkasan specifications, always use position numbers so that the guest is not disturbed unnecessarily
:Follow procedure relating to signature menus as laid out during training
