The Associate Project Manager will collaborate with the field and corporate to implement customer loyalty strategies (registry, credit, clienteling, etc). The goal is to help stores create a loyal customer base, drive traffic, and increase sales and gross margin.
Acts as a liaison between the Field and Corporate to support the customer loyalty, community and events strategies. The Project Manger of Sales Generation will apply intensive and diversified knowledge of project management principles, practices and analytics to drive business results. The Sales Generation project manager will focus on implementing project plans, building and delivering reporting processes, tracking and communicating results. This position will build relationships with corporate and field business partners and across Williams:Sonoma, Inc. brands to identify opportunities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Collaborate with cross:functional teams to develop, roll out and support initiatives that improve customer experience and results in key customer acquisition modes including : Wedding Registry, Clienteling, Williams:Sonoma Visa, Social Media and Culinary programs.
* Act as primary point of contact for field teams for support and training on store events, registry, clienteling, social media and credit card.
* Responsible for documenting and sharing successful in:store event strategies while ensuring operational excellence.
* Partner with Consumer Insights to deliver lead lists to stores to help drive store traffic.
* Work closely with Brand Marketing teams to provide field feedback and to ensure stores receive timely and clear communication of Brand Marketing initiatives and that all communication complies with operational policies and procedures.
* BA/BS or equivalent experience
* Strong business acumen skills, including financial analysis
* Strong Microsoft Powerpoint and Excel skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
* Proven ability to build relationships and influence others
* Previous store experience preferred with emphasis on clienteling and/or in:store events; experience in community/philanthropic organizations a plus
* 3:5 years of experience in a retail environment
* Experience in reporting, analyzing, communicating, and presenting results to varying levels of management
