Job Description:/h3:
Golden State Wellness (GSW) is a small (10 employees+:) cannabis industry distributor located in Los Angeles, CA. GSW is the exclusive partner of Apothecanna topicals for the state of California. As the business grows, so does our need to hire reliable and competent team members. We are currently looking for a compitent and motivated sales rep to service the Bay Area region. The candidate must have experience in being an on road sales rep having experience in the cannabis industry a plus but not required. Sales experience that would be applicable is required and must be self motivated and enjoy being on the road bringing a happy sales experience to our customers. GSW is new the Bay Area so the candidate is responsible for creating the new business with the support of the GSW L.A. team as well as the parent company Apothecanna.
Applicants must have 3+ years related experience with the following functions to be considered. Please provide a resume, cover letter and list of reference.
Account Management Responsibilities:
:
Manage the sale and distribution of GSW brands and products.
:
Account acquisition, management and relationship building.
:
Organize brand specific activations for education and marketing events.
:
Establish goals to accomplish tasks and achieve company objectives.
:
Develop account specific resources for managers and bud tenders.
:
Identify consumer demographics and lifestyle opportunities for client brands.
:
Maintain business assets and data resources.
:
Make periodic delivers of promotional items and resources.
:
Make periodic pickups of payments for outstanding invoices.
:
Maintain knowledge of the culture, trends, regulations and politics of the cannabis industry.
:
Contribute content for social media and marketing.

Account Acquisition
:
Being the GSW expert on your territory
:
Responsible for signing up new accounts based on quarterly strategy and sales goals
:
Managing client information and interaction via Streak, our CRM system

Account Service
:
Responsible for pace metrics for visiting accounts weekly
:
Responsible for managing the Leaflink ordering process with clients
:
Managing budtender trainings and new client on:boarding
:
Responsible for scheduling, staffing and producing promotional events
:
Responsible for product merchandising and seasonal in:store promotional roll:out

Participation
:
You are part of a team and expected to play an active role in the development and execution of GSW sales plans
:
Work with:in the GSW system, understanding its core functions and your role in the organization

Required Skill Set
:
Independent, self:motivated, with strong organizational skills.

Confident public speaker with the ability to react quickly and improvise in a live setting.
:
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to listen, learn and resolve conflict.

Convey a happy and joyful attitude while interacting with clients.
