We build cloud-based business software for hiring (the category is called applicant tracking software). We are a leader in the HR technology space that has quickly become one of the hottest markets in the business software category. Last year we were recognized as one of the fastest growing cloud applications. Our target market consists of employers with between 30-2500 employees (not a bad space to be in). Today, we have over 2,500+ US-based customers that rely on our thoughtfully designed SaaS platform. Our business is growing quickly. We are attracting employers from nearly every vertical by offering easy to use, easy to activate, easy to purchase software. And we keep our customers delighted exceptional customer service.

We are looking for a Content Marketing Manager with a passion for building an inbound machine that provides value and drives revenue at the same time.

Here's what you'll do...

* Help to create and execute a content strategy that will leverage and build upon Newton's existing initiatives to meet aggressive online and sales goals.

* Manage the process of creating, developing, and measuring strategic brand content, such as thought leadership articles, product collateral, marketing copy, white papers, infographics, website copy, and client communication.

* Help amplify the Newton brand and assist in maintaining that voice across all formats, channels, and touchpoints.

* Develop an editorial calendar and determine the media and methods that will work for each target audience.

* Enjoy autonomy while being a part of a small team of marketers that work across the company on interesting, important projects

What we're really looking for...

* You have demonstrated capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performing and highly collaborative environment.

* Someone to collaborate with our strategists and ultimately own the creation of Newton content from start to finish.

* You have managed an editorial calendar and know that project management is part of the job.

* You've owned a traffic goal before and know how to exceed your goals.

* You love keyword research and coming up with great content ideas.

* You're a pro with SEO tools and can own the room when discussing tactics.

* You know how to measure what's working and how to make more of it.

* You are a creative and strategic thinker that doesn't always think an infographic is the answer.

* 4 years of experience as a content marketer or with similar experience.

In case you were wondering

Hours are flexible but you must be willing to get your work done and most of the time that means M-F between 8:30am - 5:00pm PST. You will need to be able to get to our office in San Francisco. Relocation assistance is out of the question (sorry, we're a small team). Our office is located in the FiDi with great views of the San Francisco Bay. The dress code is casual. The people here do their jobs well, care about one another and play fair. We don't believe in office politics and cliques. If you're hired, we have your back.
