Zendesk is seeking a Digital Marketing Analyst to join the Growth Marketing team. In this role, you will help ensure that everyone in Marketing is empowered to make data driven decisions. In addition, you will be responsible for proactively uncovering data trends that provide actionable insights to help the business grow and succeed.

You'll be joining a motley crew of motorcycle riders, surf & dive experts, karaoke divas, and an improv champ. You'll be working on marketing projects that help drive our ambitious growth goals. Responsibilities:

* Drive data driven culture within Growth Marketing and the company through education and knowledge sharing

* Discover new digital data trends and unlock insights that will help drive business growth

* Help answer ad-hoc big (and small) questions by analyzing company data from any and all channels and sources that drive the leads, pipeline and bookings of our various teams

* Develop key reporting dashboards including monthly and quarterly forecasts. Continually monitor performance of metrics to identify new trends or flag potential issues.

* Regularly report findings and ongoing KPI's to marketing and sales teams to provide visibility into business performance and to aid decision-making

Desired Skills and Experience:

* BS/BA degree in math, statistics, engineering, economics, or related degree OR equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

* 2+ years of experience in strategy consulting, data analytics, business intelligence, or related field

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable presenting data and providing recommendations with confidence to senior level stakeholders, even when there is ambiguity involved

* Strong intellectual curiosity combined with a knack for recognizing correlations, trends, and statistical irregularities

* Talent for translating data into easy-to-understand, actionable insights

* Experience with advertising platforms (e.g. AdWords, Bing) and reporting on standard digital marketing KPIs (e.g. CPA, CPM, CTR, etc.)

* Experience with BI tools (e.g. BIME, Tableau, GoodData) and advanced Excel functions

* Intermediate SQL query writing and experience implementing and working with analytics data warehouses (e.g. BigQuery, MySQL)
