A nationwide staffing agency is hiring a remote Field Marketing Ambassador to represent one of its clients, by promoting their Cannabis Business-to-Business Trade Show. The client has annual shows in Denver, Portland, and California, over 350 exhibitors, and 5000+ attendees.

About the Position

BA's will promote the show by visiting businesses and farms to register trade and industry professionals to this premium event. You'll be visiting growers, producers, processors, retail shops (dispensaries, hydro shops, garden centers, glass shops, etc.), ancillary businesses and posting on social media. This team creates a stronger connection between an attendee and the Show.

Projected Contract Date: March 5, 2018- April 23, 2018 (8 weeks)

Position: Remote, Contractor; must live within the city you are applying

Hours: 15-20 hours per week

Schedule: Monday-Friday; must have flexibility to work on some Saturdays

Pay: $200 per week (provided via Company credit card) Pay is via every 2 weeks.

Interview Process: You must be available for 2 video interviews; and 1 live training within your market

Education, Qualifications and Skills

- 18+ years or older; HS Diploma required
- Reliable transportation & insurance,
- Smartphone with text, video, email, and web capabilities
- Must be able to receive Company credit card (have social security number)
- 1 year of promotional, sales, marketing experience highly preferred
- 1 year of residency in your territory
- Must have knowledge and be comfortable with the cannabis industry, you understand the hydro store, the farm, the dispensary and know who INDO wants to invite to the Show.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Build relationships with industry businesses and farms through site visits and cold-calling
- Attend all cannabis business events in territory, network, and be the face for Indo Expo in the community.
- Deliver promotional materials (i.e. "All Access Card, Posters, Postcards, etc.) to businesses/farms and educate about proper use, registration, and deadlines.
- Must meet quotas and business metrics
- Utilize CRM system to keep organized and up to date records on outreach and promotion efforts.
- Develop new marketing content by optimizing social media opportunities while in the field.

- Know the features/benefits of the Indo Expo EX: Expo unique: All Industry Pros get complimentary access if registration form is completed by deadline.
- Call businesses/farms in your territory to register people over the phone.
- Be available to work the weekend of the Show as support staff. (Bay Area based personnel only)
- Assist registration and attendee acquisition.
- Be able to get past gatekeepers at new stores/leads.
- Promote the INDO EXPO brand and wear INDO staff shirt at all times when representing Indo Expo
- Be upbeat and have a confident demeanor. Smiles get you miles.
