Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Meets company sales goals by utilizing sales techniques and communicating product knowledge to the customer; recommends merchandise selections or helps to locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires. Maintains client book.

* Explains the DSW Rewards program and its benefits to customers. Verifies / updates email and mailing address of existing Rewards Members to ensure correct data is on file

* Process customer sales, return transactions utilizing POS system

* Ensures LXR department is neat, clean, and organized at all times

* Follows all Loss Prevention policies and procedures

* Processes LXR inventory shipments / returns

* Communicate customer feedback to store management team concerning policies and/or product requests, problems and suggestions.

* Actively participate in store meetings and training sessions with DSW and LXR

* Promote a strong sense of teamwork by working together safely, effectively, respectfully and efficiently with all associates.

Required Skills and Competencies:

* Outstanding customer service and selling skills

* Commitment to building customer relationships and loyalty through personal interaction and the maintenance of customer files

* Proven track record in achieving / exceeding sales goals

* Excellent communication skills

* Demonstrate behaviors that align with the company values of Passion, Accountability, Collaboration, and Humility

* Ability to work nights and weekends is required
