Your role at Sephora:
As a Senior Manager, SEO, you will lead the strategy and execution of the natural search program for Sephora US and Canada : a leader in SEO Reporting to the Senior Director of Media, you will have the opportunity to work on large roadmap projects, partner with vendors on the latest and greatest in SEO, and lead the future vision for SEO at Sephora across all platforms, including our award:winning App. As part of a high performing Media center of excellence you will also partner with your peers who run Paid Search, Social, Site Experience and Product Management.

In addition, you will:
:Align Sephoras natural search strategy to Sephora business goals and Marketing priorities to meet revenue targets
:Continuously audit Sephora for opportunities to improve our technical SEO, collaborating with Product Management to identify and prioritize IT projects, owning from conception to launch
:Serve as an evangelist for SEO across the company, working with cross:functional teams to instill SEO best practices, update processes and improve communication
:Partner with peers in Marketing to connect the dots and identify opportunities to share insights that drive business results across channels
:Work with SEO Marketing Associates, Site Content, Design and Editorial teams to implement on:page optimizations and SEO best practices
:Ensure that Sephora stays focused on SEO activities that have the biggest impact on Natural Search revenue growth
:Stay abreast of industry trends (like Voice and Visual Search) and keep internal team informed of risks and opportunities that will impact the SEO program
:Train and manage direct reports
:Demonstrate our Sephora values of Passion for Client Service, Innovation, Expertise, Balance, Respect for All, Teamwork, and Initiative

Were excited about you if you have:
:6+ years relevant experience in SEO and proven record in optimizing ecommerce sites
:Deep knowledge of on:page SEO, technical SEO and search engine ranking factors
:High level of initiative and proven ability to work independently on multiple projects in a fast:paced environment
:Personal commitment to putting the customer first, prioritizing user experience above search engines while adhering to Google Webmaster Guidelines
:Strong analytical skills; ability to draw conclusions from data and take action accordingly
:Impeccable attention to detail and strong organizational skills
:Ability to indirectly manage and build strong relationships and consensus across diverse teams and personality types
:Ability to convey the value of SEO to people who know very little about Search
:Experience using an enterprise:level SEO platform (Searchmetrics, BrightEdge, et. al.)
:Strong familiarity with industry tools such as the Google Keyword Planner, Botify, Screaming Frog SEO Spider, SEMRush, Majestic SEO/Open Site Explorer, etc.
