Job Description:/h3:
Overview: We are seeking a Field Engineer, with a background in civil, who has at least 5 years of experience. We are seeking someone who is committed to delivering an excellent experience for our clients, internal and external. This individual will be responsible for carrying out a long:term site improvement program for a major utility client. Ideal candidate will have good client interaction skills, a demonstrated ability to manage internal and external project teams on critical schedules, as well as strong time management and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
:
Create full set of working drawings.
:
Coordinating project meetings with clients and consultants to develop suitable design drawings.
:
Facilitating permit submittal to various cities and agencies.
:
Manage project coordination with structural and geotechnical engineers.
:
Work in the field, surveying field conditions.
:
Effectively communicate status updates, document flow and permit status with Project Management team, General Contractors, and other consultants.
:
Ensure that permit related files, data, documents, plans and reports are properly prepared to be submitted for review/approval.
:
Review submittals and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
:
EIT License
:
PE License a plus
Qualifications:
:
Familiarity working on a multiple:site improvement program for a large organization.
:
Able to work by oneself or with other team members.
:
Experience in creating large scale existing conditions site plans, for site improvement projects.
:
Strong writing and organizational skills
:
Detail oriented
:
Professional Engineer License
:
Revit and Autocad
:
Bluebeam Review or Plan Grid
:
MS Office
:
Knowledge of California building codes is a plus
:

Experience:
:
5+ years of engineering experience
:
3+ years experience as Project Manager a plus
Education:
:
BS Degree in Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or similar.
