A vertically integrated Real Estate Development Group is seeking applicants for the position of Project Engineer within their dynamic and fast paced construction department. Operating exclusively within the boundaries of San Francisco, we are a full committed to providing our clients with a personalized service stemming from our experience within our core disciplines of general contracting, entitlement and permitting assistance, design build, value engineering and most recently, our award winning Historic Rehabilitation activities.
Job Description
The successful candidate should be able to perform all essential Project Engineer duties. Some of the anticipated responsibilities will include:
: Soliciting bids from subcontractors
: Preparing and implementing project schedules
:Assisting in the development of budgets
:Overseeing daily construction activities
:Procuring materials
:Assisting project manager
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Candidates should hold at minimum a bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or other relevant qualification. Coupled to this, successful applicants will have the ability to read and understand plans and be proficient in AutoCAD. Applicants must be self :directed and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, excellent written and verbal communication skills and confidence in their abilities to work both independently and as part of a team is essential.
Past field experience is desirable. Candidates should be based in San Francisco and be authorized to work in the United States of America. A California Driving License will be required for this position. Compensation for this position will depend on experience.
