Job Description Broderick General Engineering (formerly John Benward Company) is based in Sonoma and provides paving, grading, excavation, demolition and recycling services for both residential and commercial properties in Northern California. As we continue to expand, we are in search of an additional Project Manager to join our team. Job Description: As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and directing residential and commercial general engineering excavation projects. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Supervise the preparation of construction plans and oversee design documents post entitlement approvals Process grading permits, building permits, encroachment permits, storm water permits, maps and other permits necessary to construct the company's projects Interface with local agencies on all permitting issues, both pre-permit and post-permit Scheduling Purchasing and Contracting Troubleshooting issues Manage additions and changes to projects On-site project management Daily contact for all members of the construction team, including Contractor, Owner, Inspector and Project Managers, throughout the construction phase of project. Review and respond to project documentation, such as RFI's, COR's, ASI's, RFP's and submittals. Coordinate responses to documentation with the consultant team. Ensure that all appropriate and necessary documentation is submitted during the project and closeout. Qualifications include, but are not limited to: 1+ years of construction management experience required Valid driver's license Experience in excavation contracting preferred, but not required Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel Prefer experience in SAGE and Heavy Bid Software Superior Attention to Detail Excellent Organization and Communication Skills Bilingual a plus Compensation: Paid Holidays Paid time off Medical & Dental Pre-tax healthcare HSA accounts 401(k) employee retirement savings plan Employer Funded Defined Benefits Plan Profit Sharing 3% Safe Harbor Annual Employer Contribution on Gross Wages Car reimbursement Salary is dependent on experience
