Public accounting firm in the Financial District of San Francisco seeks an Experienced Controller-level or Senior Accountant with managerial experience for a full-time position to provide increased guidance and support to our Outsourced Accounting Team. Requirements Candidates must have: 5 years full-cycle accounting experience with general ledger responsibility Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) Professional presenceDemonstrated ability to manager others Experience managing all schedules to support monthly financials and annual audits Ability to assess client needs, pinpoint problems, and propose solutions 4-year college degreeCar to travel to client sites as needed
Desired skills and experience: B.S. in Accounting or related field Ability to draft customized financial policies and procedures for clients Ability to teach best accounting practices Advanced Excel skills Deeper industry experience in one or more of these sectors: Real Estate Manufacturing/Wholesale/Distribution Retail - including eCommerce Medical Services Legal Services Technology Ability to construct operating cash flow models and budgets
Primary job fuctions: Provide top-level support to clients Train, mentor, and supervise junior accounting staff Proactively anticipate clients needs and propose solutions to current or future challenges Lead and review monthly closes and produce monthly financials Ensure the accuracy and timely completion of all assigned client work
