Enovity is currently seeking a highly:motivated Facility Modification Construction Manager (FM Manager) for a full:time position for our Operation and Maintenance Division. As part of a clients contract, Enovity is responsible for delivering construction and infrastructure projects at various sites through the clients Facility Modification Program. This program includes small and mid:sized projects that vary between building construction, mechanical, plumbing, electrical and fire/life safety, among others.
Experience and Qualifications:
:
Equivalent to a bachelors degree from a recognized college or university with major course work in engineering, facility management, construction project management, or a closely related field
:
Ten years (10) of professional
building/facility/project management and contracting experience with a wide variety of contracts and
facility/construction related documents.
:
Three (3) years of professional experience in project estimating and planning.
:
Experience with commercial building systems is required.
:
Experience with Job Order Contracting, and E:Gordian software is highly desirable,
:
Experience in supervising planner estimator staff.
Skills:
:
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Project.
:
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem solving skills.
:
Highly motivated and proactive, focused on achieving results.
Responsibilities:
:
Reports directly to Facility Plant Engineer Supervisor
:
Responsibility to ensure the successful delivery of all facets of assigned Facility Modification projects, within the Facility Modification Program including complete project scope development, RFPs, submittal development and project documentation, using company prescribed forms.
:
Provides estimating services for facility modification; including identification of necessary trades and applicable pricing for the proposed project.
:
Solicit subcontractor bids by way of contractor bid walks, scheduling, permit applications and preliminary budgets.
:
Utilizes all industry standard means/resources to derive and document estimated costs for chosen solutions.
:
Develops project schedules and planning methodologies to deliver the projects to meet clients requirements.
:
Secures services to complete facility modifications through in:house as well as subcontract channels.
:
Coordinates all activities with parallel contract staff as required.
:
Interface with the clients facility modification program staff, regional staff at all levels.
:
All estimating and planning deliverables must be developed utilizing industry standard project management techniques
:
Provide onsite support for work execution.
:
Weekend and after hour work required.
