Our client is a leading Business Services Provider whose growth has created the need for an exceptional Facility Space Planner at the headquarters of one of their top:tier clients in Silicon Valley, California. The Facility Space Planner is responsible for the ownership of the clients portfolio of space and related projects by providing programming, space planning, and coordination services for modular furniture installation or reconfiguration, tenant improvements, and move projects.

Meet regularly with client to provide space and strategic planning solutions.
Maintain and foster strong relationships with client and stakeholders.
Manage the service contract and monitor client KPIs.
Serve as a liaison between existing internal and external vendors and client representatives.

Provide space and strategic planning solutions for small to mid:sized projects.
o Gather programming information related to space requirements, adjacencies, or move requirements for small reconfigurations and move projects.
o Validate drawing database and provide verification updates.
o Develop migration plans and space strategies utilizing blocking and stacking diagrams as necessary for strategic and tactical planning.
o Coordinate and implement project moves.
o Provide complex and detailed design layouts of new and existing office space and furniture as needed for move and tenant improvement projects.
Oversee the coordination of multiple aspects of space and strategic planning.
Lead teams of space planners, project managers and move coordinators to plan and monitor complex and detailed design layouts of existing office space and furniture.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety rules.

Responsible for leading and managing teams of space planners, project managers and move coordinators. Has full project responsibility for various Space Planning projects. Collaborates with both internal colleagues, client representatives and external contractors.

RELOCATION ELIGIBILITY: Seeking both local, qualified candidates and non:local, qualified candidates willing to relocate to the designated work location. Relocation assistance available.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Minimal. Up to 10 U.S. travel for site visits, team member and subcontractor meetings, as needed.

Bachelors degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering or closely related discipline.
5+ years of experience working for a provider of facilities planning, workplace strategies and furniture project management services. Experience managing and executing day:to:day service requests and move coordination.
Knowledge of Space Planning systems and practices, furniture and Facilities Management.
Superior customer service, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to interface effectively with team members, client, contractors and management at various levels.
Demonstrated organizational skills, ability to pay attention to detail and quality, meet critical deadlines, keep key project deliverables moving forward and work on multiple projects in a fast:paced environment.
Proven problem:solving, creative resolution, judgment and decision:making skills.
Self:motivated, with the demonstrated ability to work independently without close supervision while effectively contributing to a team environment.
Experience leading teams of space planners, project managers and move coordinators.
Proficiency in reading AutoCAD plans and experience with Computer Aided Facility Management (CAF
