Job Description:/h3:
Swift Navigation is looking for a GNSS Test Engineer to contribute to our test infrastructure. You will work with a small team to push the state of the art in satellite navigation technology, making high accuracy positioning ubiquitous and easy to use across a wide variety of industries and applications in unmanned aerial vehicles, robotics, and autonomous transportation.

As a member of the infrastructure team, youll contribute to hardware and software infrastructure supporting validation of our Piksi Multi GNSS receiver:

Implementation and tooling. We build many of our own tools and infrastructure for prototyping, testing, validating, and benchmarking algorithms on our current and next:generation receivers. Youll work together with the hardware and firmware teams on ensuring quick, transparent experimentation and high:quality test coverage across many real:world use cases.

Integration Infrastructure. Much of our current work involves rigorously demonstrating that our system works as intended when leaving the lab for a variety of customer scenarios in real:world environments. Youll build/use automation frameworks and assemble instrumentation for hardware:in:the:loop testing, fault injection, and regression testing across these scenarios, as well as data analysis pipelines and metrics monitoring for test units under firmware and manufacturing validation.

Candidates should have skills and experience with:
:GNSS receiver engineering : in a development, support, or testing role
:Python or Matlab or similar for data analysis
:Software engineering in a production environment
:Using scripting languages (Python or similar) on Linux
:Version control tools / git / software tools
Strong candidates will also possess skills in one or more of:
:Automated test infrastructure design and implementation
:GNSS receiver test plan specification
:Mechanical or electrical design
