Trinity is experiencing a dynamic stage of growth and we are looking to add new professionals to our team. We are pleased to announce the position of Maintenance Technician for our multi:family residential high rise properties. The position reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and/or Property Manager. The position is full:time, non:exempt. The position is responsible for the preventative maintenance and repair of apartments, buildings, and equipment as well as the economic usage of equipment. The Maintenance Technician works to provide a comfortable and safe environment for residents and employees and to provide assistance in resident improvement construction.The Maintenance Technician completes all maintenance work orders with proper certifications, including electrical and plumbing. Completes necessary maintenance on each apartment for move:ins, and paints interiors of apartments and exteriors when necessary. The position completes all work orders in a timely manner. You will be responsible for maintaining all equipment to ensure safety and equipment upkeep. You will do your best to ensure resident satisfaction when working in apartment. The Maintenance Technician performs apartment turnovers to Company standards, and adheres to specific safety guidelines set by OSHA and attends monthly safety meetings. Designated on:call personnel must keep NEXTEL on during non:business hours, seven days a week and respond to all emergency calls in a timely manner and if necessary, in person. And, the position completes all other projects or requests as directed by Property Manager. Skill in use of computers, preferably in PC, windows based operating environmentRequires handling average weight objects up to 25 pounds and standing or walking for more than six (6) hours a dayHave a reliable vehicle to report to other properties as well as on:call emergenciesMust be able to work on:callDemonstrate competence to assess priorities and manage a variety of activities in a time:sensitive manner and meet deadlines with attention to detailAbility to understand and follow safety proceduresModerate physical activityWork involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, and/or loud noisesAbility to communicate effectively, both orally and in writingAbility to keep records and make reportsThorough knowledge of the methods, practice, tools and material used in general maintenance and repair workWork environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety procedures Designated on:call personnel must keep mobile communication on during non:business hours, seven days a week and respond to all emergency calls in a timely manner and if necessary, in personHigh school diploma. GED or equivalent work experience preferredValid CA driver licenseMinimum of 2 years of experience working in residential community preferred
