Job DescriptionTurner and Townsend is growing our Project Management services for our client in San Francisco and seeking a Project Manager to support a variety of clients and construction projects.The Project Manager will manage various commercial clients and their stakeholders in capital improvement projects, including new developments, facility expansions, renovations, and retrofitting. This position coordinates, monitors, and reports on design, permitting, procurement, and construction activities. The Project Manager will work with clientA cents € (TM) s procurement services and facilities groups to author, negotiate and/or administer consultant and construction agreements, coordinate, monitor, and report on design and construction activities, facilitate quality control, and maintain design and construction schedules. This role acts as a liaison between the stakeholders and the clientA cents € (TM) s corporate team, as well as between the construction team, the design team, and external vendors. In addition to hands-on performance of the services, the Project Manager may also manage small project delivery teams to provide coordinated expertise, standardized tools and project management recommendations. Qualifications: Bachelor of Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management or equivalent professional experience in the design and construction of commercial buildings preferred.US and Bay Area experience preferred. Experience:The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of project management experience in the delivery of commercial, real estate and related construction projects.Experience on projects including retail, mixed use, residential, and corporate offices from programming through facility activation desired.Direct experience creating, managing, and analyzing schedules in P6 or MS Project is a huge plus. Knowledge & Skills:Must be familiar with commercial construction practices, contracts, GCA cents € (TM) s and subcontractors, codes and regulations.Estimating, budgeting, and cost analysis experience is preferred, along with in-depth knowledge of construction processes and procedures, and contract administration.Must have expertise in project management techniques and software.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure appropriate communications and coordination across project delivery team, stakeholders, and vendors.Strong client relationship management skills to maintain positive relations between stakeholders and corporate leadership.Able to manage and delegate tasks to technical and non-technical support staff.
