Leading ENR utilities and pipeline contractor in the Bay Area is looking to welcome aboard new Project Managers before the the Spring. These are full time, permanent, salaried positons, offering upward mobility, competitive compensation, and long:term career track opportunity.

The PM provides overall management for multiple small and medium size natural gas transmission and distribution construction projects. They serve as the primary contact with owners and must continually foster a positive relationship with all parties involved. Project Managers generate and monitor cost estimates, prime contracts, schedules, subcontracts, owner and subcontractor change orders, RFIs, and process submittals.
:Collaborate superintendents and foremen to plan, organize and direct activities concerned with road and site construction projects.
:Establish project objectives, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of company policy and contract specifications.
:Initiate and maintain liaison with owners and other contacts to facilitate project activities.
:Monitor and control project through administrative direction of on:site foremen to ensure project is completed on schedule and within budget.
:Investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures.
:Represent company in project meetings and attend strategy meetings.
:Work with contract administrator to manage financial aspects of contracts to protect companys interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with the customer.
:Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers and clients.
:Formulate reports concerning such areas as work progress, costs and scheduling.
:Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related
:Possesses strong written and verbal communications skills and manages time effectively
:Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications
:5+ years project enigneering and project management (3+ years as PM) experience within heavy civil, eneery infrastructure, underground utilities, pipeline construction, or related projects/services
:Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Microsoft Project and Excel
:Ability to demonstrate team building, leadership and mentoring skills
:Must be proficient with all project management administration activities
:PE and/or PMP certification preferred
:100 Negotiable salary (DOE : average salary range isbetween 110,000 : 130,000)
