Job Description:/h3:
The Regional Sales Representative is accountable for achieving or exceeding budgeted sales, volume/mix, and profitability targets with end:users, contractors and the architectural and design community through a direct market. The Regional Sales Representative responsibilities include working with key customer accounts to drive specifications on key projects in the healthcare, hospitality, and education segments. The Regional Sales Representative will also be partnering with the local Flooring Contractors to close projects, administer pricing requests, and training.
:Drive and grow profitable sales.
:Build relationships with end:users, the design community, contractors, and distributors to achieve customer satisfaction and financial goals.
:Influence end:users to purchase through solution selling.
:Influence Flooring Contractors to focus on and sell products.
:Communicate and implement pricing, marketing
programs/promotions, and initiatives to drive the business.
:Successfully execute new product launch initiatives.
:Conduct training in the areas of selling skills, product knowledge, technical information, installation.
:Execute the sales call process and accurate job tracking (sets the stage, fact finds and listens, presents total value, manages objections and finds solutions for targeted accounts).
:Monitor and evaluate the market and activities and products of the competition.
:Prepare reports of business transactions and keep expense accounts.
Required Qualifications:
:Minimum 5 years outside sales experience
:Bachelors degree (B. A.) from four:year College or University; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
:Valid drivers license.
Reliable/Professional transportation required
:Must have knowledge of the terms, concepts and practices of the marketing and sales environment which include, basic accounting, negotiating, prospecting new clients, networking, solution based selling, understanding product developments, design, and performance and manufacturing procedures, distribution, and customer service.
:Must be proficient with, Microsoft Office products, Mobile Technology, E:Mail and other in:house database systems.
:Floor covering industry experience A MUST
